Alec Tanenbaum is a tax manager at BMM. Prior to joining our team in 2024, Alec spent six years with Deloitte Tax, LLP in Atlanta, most recently as a Tax Manager in the firm’s Business Tax Services department, where he also served as a Senior Tax Accountant and Tax Consultant II. He provides tax compliance, planning, and advisory services, with particular depth in federal and state income tax matters for corporations and partnerships.
His experience includes ASC 740 income tax provision preparation, tax modeling and planning for mergers, acquisitions, and restructuring transactions, and multistate income tax compliance for clients filing in approximately 40 states. He has supervised national and global engagement teams and led technology transitions that streamlined clients’ tax compliance processes.
